A: Yes, DKV LIVE can be tested for up to 2 months free of charge.
Q: I forgot my password for the DKV LIVE portal. What should I do?
A: DKV LIVE users can click Forgot PW in the log in area.
Q: Is the number of portal users limited?
A: No, any number of users can be created at no extra cost.
Q: Can I remove purchased hardware and install them in a new vehicle?
A: Yes, this is possible
Q: Can trailers also be tracked?
A: Yes, this is possible.
Q: Is traffic information displayed in the portal?
A: Yes, traffic information can be displayed on the LIVE map.
Q: Why are refuelings not detected for my vehicle?
A: A refueling can be detected by telemetry data and payments with the DKV Service Card.
For telemetry based detection please verify that:
The assigned tracking device provides telemetry data (fuel tank level in %).
A fuel tank capacity is specified for the vehicle.
For payment based detection, please assign the DKV Service Card to the vehicle, which is valid and currently in use for this vehicle.
Both detection types can be used in parallel.
Q: Can I see more than one day of trace in the DKV Live webportal?
A: Yes, all traces can be found by clicking on "Logbook" (either from vehicle details panel on live map, or in vehicle details) and then selecting the logbook entry that you want to see as trace on map. Further details can be found here.
